Flower Education 101

How to determine the overall cost of your flowers?

This is a question we get all the time.  This is really a matter of taste.

We have some clients that love flowers and what a lot of them and some who want a very minimal amount of flowers.  The usual rule of thumb is 15-20% of your budget is spent on flowers. This is still a very personal choice.  If you are adding other things such as rentals, lighting, draping and additional items your cost will go up.  So, keep in mind those items are extra.

So, plan ahead if you want to do additional design work for your event. These factors will increase your budget.

Centerpiece Design:

Keep Your Pictures in Mind "Details"

Classic, Elegant or Modern have you decided are you a Minimalist do you like it simple?

  1. The Classic Centerpiece works with two simple colors.  The domed arrangement include a base of green generally and a mix color works very well with the classic.  Classic can work with a single color as well.
  2. A Modern Approach uses multiples of color this is an eye catcher for sure.
  3. Romantic Centerpiece will offer an abundance of flowers.  Very soft and sweet.  May have sweet smells to it as well.
  4. Natural will be laid back style and unstructured with some earthy fill to it.  You may see some curly willow and some unusual flowers that your not used to seeing everyday.
  5. Tiered Arrangements  - These are being used on High and Low tables now for depth.  You will see arrangement at the bottom of the tables well as at the top.  This is a very elegant look.
  6. Don't forget the details... the arrangement for the sign-in tables are unusually breathtaking; these set the tone for the entire event.  These welcome your guest to your entire occasion and they get the wow factor right from the start.
  7.
